Galleries and Art Spaces
The objective of our gallery tours
are to introduce participants to contemporary art &
street culture, and artists, via a visit of galleries and art spaces in our suburbs.
To that end, our gallery tours often feature following components:
-
an exhibition opening at one or more of the visited galleries
-
a talk by an exhibiting artist, art critic or gallery owner
These
tours on average attract about 10 people, with some tours attracting more than 30 participants.
In addition to our
gallery tours, Galleryhoppers.com.au and Facetime.com.au sporadically organise ad-hoc gallery visits upon request from our members.
